Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, work email, company, trade, project type, approximate job value, current proposal process, rough job notes, and any files you upload. If you use the Bid Workspace, we also store the customer, project, pricing, status, follow-up, and outcome information you enter. We process your email address, one-time sign-in link records, and essential session information to secure your workspace. Uploaded materials may include estimates, PDFs, photos, images, or voice recordings.

Our hosting and security systems may also process basic technical information such as request timestamps, browser or device details, and security logs needed to operate and protect the site.

How we use information

• Process plan-access and sample submissions.
• Respond to your request and onboard your business to the service.
• Organize submitted details and prepare the proposal drafts or samples you request.
• Provide your private Bid Workspace and calculate pipeline and win/loss metrics.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
• Meet legal obligations and prevent misuse.

We may use transcription and writing services to help prepare a draft from the information you submit. The draft is returned to you for review.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that support hosting, storage, security, email, transcription, and draft preparation, only as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell submitted personal information or use project materials for unrelated behavioral advertising.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed for the information we handle, restrict operational access, and limit collection to information relevant to the service. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Deletion requests may be subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, or backup retention needs.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your submission by emailing us. You may also ask us to stop plan-related communications. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Cookies and children

The site uses an essential, secure session cookie after you verify a one-time email sign-in link. The cookie keeps you signed in to your private Bid Workspace and is not used for advertising. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies. Finish My Bid is a business service intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted here before or when they take effect.
